How does faith produce perseverance?
When you have made a decision to do something even though you don’t see the obstacles that accompany that decision but you step out and do, that is faith.
Faith requires an inner commitment to the goal or to someone bigger than you. In my life that someone is God. God the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Bible. I can have faith in Him because He is the author of faith. He is the same yesterday today and forever.
Because of His consistency and more because of WHO He is I can persevere His character is enough to motivate me to press on because I know even if I fall flat on my face He is faithful!
