My husband and I have just returned from a trip of a lifetime. We travelled to the Holy Land, Israel with a group of more than 350 people. Living Truth Ministries organized this 12 day tour of Israel with the exceptional co-ordination of Christian Journeys, an established tour guide company.
Over the next several weeks I will have a blog on the experience because one sitting is impossible. Due to a bout with the flu I was not able to get this posted earlier.
Besides my geography knowledge being challenged, my bible knowledge and study was put in the spotlight. I found that there were many scriptural passages that were brought to life throughout our journey.
Thousands have come to this land desiring to walk where Jesus walked, to sit where he sat and to eat the foods common in His day.
The Jewish people know about Him as do Muslims, Arabs, Catholics’ and others. Yet to a large degree these groups all know about and yet the role He plays in their lives is as varied as the clothes they wear and the foods they eat.
This trip has had a different effect on each and every person who went. Hopefully, I can give you a little insight into the kind impact it has had on me and perhaps spur your own appetite to go.
I will never be the same.
